Explanation-
By listening to a firsthand interview, students will have an auditory aid to hear the thought process and reasoning of a Civil Rights leader. Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the most prominent leaders and made a large impact on history which is why it is important for students to listen to this primary source. Students will be able to discuss what his stance was on multiple political issues and why he fought back.
